You know it’s passion that’s driving you when you can’t put an end to a hustle. After a long break and the euphoria accompanied by the success of my testing waters last year, who am I not to resume that which makes you visit my blog?
Good morning and welcome to the maiden edition of 10QFNC for 2019. Today my guest is an Amanfour (Prempeh College old guy) and a biomedical engineer from KNUST. To unwind, he loves playing music, sleeping, idling about and sometimes going out to swim. Let’s know him more, shall we? Yours truly shall be N.C while my guest for today will be Col.Ob
N.C: Q.1- Welcome to 10QFNC Collins.
How would you introduce yourself ?
Col.Ob- My name is Obeng Collins. A biomedical engineer and a network marketer. Highly adventurous and love to lay low. Highly results oriented and an awesome strategist as well.
My childhood was fun; I was living in a community comprising of different “classes” and race so I learnt how to deal with every kind of person. We used to play all kinds of games (traditional Ashanti games). I started school at Mary’s Day care, then moved to Vicande for my primary and Junior secondary education.
I’m one of Jehovah’s witnesses. I was brought up by a single mother, a very strong woman and God through her, has blessed me so much.
N.C: Why was your dad missing in the picture?
He passed on when I was a toddler. I have an awesome step dad now, 😇.
N.C-: My condolences
Thanks 😇👍🏽.
N.C: Q.2- Would you say being a biomedical engineer in Ghana is a secured profession ?
Col.Ob: Not at all, we lack strong professional council and body, and so the business owners of the field(employers) who usually know nothing about the field, and always want to follow their greedy instincts, take advantage of us always.
N.C: Was this your dream job growing up ?
Naa but I adventured a new field, and it’s being so much fun since.
N.C: Q.3-Before we get into that, what influenced your decision to read biomedical engineering in the university ?
Col: I saw the course in a university magazine, read about it and realized that it is the core of every healthcare dilevery system.
Right from diagnosis, treatment to monitoring, sophisticated technologies play great vital roles, without which, healthcare practitioners cannot work.
Also, I had always wanted to make a tremendous impact in the Healthcare sector. To enable that effectively, I needed to tackle the core, the very basic, hence I chose biomedical engineering.
N.C: Q.4- Network marketing is your new “fun field” aside your profession . How and why?
Col.OB: The best source of income is residual and passive incomes. With residual income, you work hard once and u keep reaping the benefits. With passive income, you don’t engage in strenuous activities, but you earn. Network marketing is the best and “easiest way” to generate the two.
Superlife is simply the best. It has the best product, plant stemcell technology through which so many people are being healed from stroke, diabetes, hypertension and the likes.
The compensation plan is mind-blowing. I’m talking from experience after joining about 5 different product network marketing companies.
N.C: There are rumors that superlife members have been using the records (pictures etc) of another very popular if not most popular network marketing to advertise theirs, how true is this?
It’s never true. Due to its flexible and easy to understand compensation plan designed to help make its distributors rich, SuperLife’s compensation is the best, the very best.
N.C: Has the menzgold saga stunted the growth of superlife ?
Col.Ob: Yes oo, it has. But people are realizing that Network marketing is totally different from investment. Product network marketing is a business that needs to be built.
It isn’t an investment where you put your money and relax for one corner to take your returns.
N.C: Q.5- Have you put your professional job on hold?
Col.Ob: Not at all, in fact, I’ve even started one of my own, ShiloMed Health Ventures. I registered it last year, and we started work officially this year.
We are the proud exclusive distributor of Breathe Analyzer device from Hepyscreen, and we’ve been helping people to set up medical laboratories and to improve already existing ones, who permits us.
N.C: Counting profit yet?
The small monies are reinvested until it becomes a household name in the industry.
N.C: Q.6- Are you dating ? If yes, who? If no, why not?
Col.Ob: Yep I’m in a relationship, my first time ever, a very God-fearing woman, but I’ll need her permission before I give her out for publishing 😇.
N.C: Should we be expecting an amanadehye wedding from you this year? It seems to be a trend.
Not really. My alaya never liked me. Lolx . My woman completed Serwaa Nyarko.
N.C: Wait though, first ever? impressive.
I’m assuming it means you aren’t sexually active?
Yes. Dating hasn’t changed that also. Until marriage. That’s not to say I’m not….. You know what I mean right?? 😂
Jehovah Witnesses are usually made fun of when it comes to evangelism. How do you react to the mockery?
When I was a kid, it used to bother me a little, but it wasn’t for long. The bothersomeness went away while I was still a kid.
N.C: Q.7- Your religion seems to have shaped your life a lot right?
Col.Ob- Yep, very well. It has had a strongly positive impact on my life. Especially looking at where I grew up.
It’s the reason why I’m still a virgin. Lolx.
And I haven’t tasted any hard drug even though they were readily available at where I was brought up (Kwadaso-Kumasi).
N.C: Can a JW marry someone from a different church ?
There is no strict law, it’s a matter of principle. Therefore it’s a matter of personal decision.
N.C: Q.8- Do you have political ambitions ?
Col.Ob- No please. I won’t say it’s the church’s doctrine that’s influencing my decision, but we follow Jesus’s steps closely(1peter 2:21). Jesus never involved himself in the political activities of the world and even rejected being made king when he was on earth.
N.C: Q.9- In the dying seconds when your loved one needs transfusion to live, would you allow it? The question is applicable to you as well.
Col Ob: It’s the person’s decision to take it or not.
If it’s me, I won’t dear. Especially after a research I did in third year on the wide effects of blood transfusion, the negative impact is so huge. I got to understand that God knows what’s best for His people.
Besides, the bloodless therapies are more effective and recovery is quick.
N.C- Q.10- Kofi Sefah- Sconza graced this platform last year and said “Owarians shiver at the ignorance of Amanfour. They shiver at their dumbness. They also shiver at their God forsaken dark skin. Lol”
On behalf of Prempeh College, what will be your reply?
Col.Ob-Hehehe. What do you become when you argue with a “mad man”??? Lolx
N.C:Are you attacking him because it’s true?
Ow naa, I only asked you a question oo.
Try explaining a difficult concept to the ignorant and shivering will be the only option.
Don’t you shiver at the marvel of God’s works??? It’s too big for our minds to decipher. Our intelligence is so huge that they can’t conceptualize it and so they misconstrue it as ignorance and dumbness.
No wonder sometimes the mad man thinks deeply inside that they are rather the normal beings. So it’s normal for him to feel that way
N.C- Collins, thanks so much for being the first guest on 10QFNC for 2019.
Your last words please
Col.ob: I greet all the amanadehye out there, my alaya especially 😇🤩.
Little advice for the young guys; always remember, sex is sacred and for the married only!!
Thanks so much for such a privilege 👍🏽🙏🏽.
